Batu Pahat

I wanted to introduce Batu Pahat here, but then, I am really in need of precious time to finish my thesis asap. Anyway, I will do a brief one here.

One of the most famous food in Batu Pahat would have to be "kueh cap".

'Soon Lai' is the name of the shop. I went there around 3pm, and still it's full with hungry customers. (and it's a super hot weather)

The woman in red at the left is the lady boss, while u can see the boss is bz at the right hand side.

This is 'kueh cap'. The taste is like 'kueh tiaw', but it is more compact and the shapes are more like 'mi hun kueh'. As for the soup, it's actually the gravy from cooking pig's intestines.

When eating 'kueh cap', we usually eat it along with dishes made from pig's organs, as well as taufu and vegetables. Bon apetite!
